A version of ?{Option|0} that only prompts when shift is held down while a macro is run.

My number one annoyance with character sheets is the constant modifier query. In almost every case, I only want the base effect. Rarely do I actually need a modifier, but when I do, I know it before I click the button. It would be great if there were a version of ?{Option|0} that assumed the default unless shift is held down

In all games I play, the opposite is true. Almost every roll has additional modifiers over base from ... well many things. So it is nice having it auto-pop up without having to worry with the additional button press. For your case, I could see where the pop-up could be an annoyance. But is it any easier to shift-click when you need a modifier rather than simply hitting enter when the window pops open? I would say in your case it would be easiest to build your own macros without the default query.

Indeed, that is precisely what I do right now: duplicate every piece of functionality on the character sheet in my own macros. However, I don't think that's a reasonable alternative. (Or I wouldn't suggest one that I do think is a reasonable alternative! =D) The beauty of having an alternate form, something like: [[ 1d20+8+?S{Modifier|0} ]] would allow those that want a modifier only when shift is held down to have it, while not affecting existing macros. Incidentally, hitting enter is more annoying than holding shift. I don't use the mouse with my left hand, so I have to hit enter with the wrong hand. I realize that probably seems like a minor detail.
